Program Overview

Over the course of eight weeks (60 hours total), you’ll gain a foundation in psychedelic facilitation through a blend of online coursework, live group sessions, and a three-day supervised psilocybin retreat in Portland, Oregon.

The curriculum introduces the core competencies of facilitation—ethical presence, trauma-informed care, readiness assessment, integration, and more—while grounding these concepts in lived practice at the retreat. Under the supervision of licensed facilitators, you’ll both journey with psilocybin and support peers in a safe, regulated setting.

By graduation, you’ll hold a clear understanding of the responsibilities and professional standards required to progress toward licensure or advanced facilitator training.

Who is this for?

Level 1 is designed for curious professionals, students, and seekers from across the U.S. and worldwide who want a hands-on, legally compliant introduction to psychedelic facilitation.

You don’t need prior psychedelic experience—just a readiness to learn, participate, and reflect. Whether you’re exploring a new career path, deepening your professional practice, or simply curious about the inner terrain, this program offers:

  • Practical training in essential facilitation skills

  • Firsthand experience as both participant and observer

  • A supportive community of peers and educators

  • A pathway to further training and licensure through InnerTrek
