This 5-hour workshop, lead by InnerTrek's Director of Programs & Services Emma Knighton, offers hands-on learning in applying trauma-attuned consent within psilocybin facilitation. Through guided exercises and real-time feedback, you’ll leave with concrete tools you can integrate into your facilitation work to support a consent-based approach.
At this workshop you will:
Learn and engage with hands on skill of practicing touch with clients during preparation
Deepen ability to discuss and assess client's relationship to consent and building a consent contract between client and facilitator
Identify your facilitator boundaries around touch and develop a clear script of communicating and holding these boundaries with your clients
Expand your relationship to consent within yourself and your life in general
Prerequisite: All attendees must be a licensed or un-licensed psychedelic facilitator.
Meets requirements for 5 hours of DORA & OHA psilocybin facilitator continuing education (CE).
Cost includes workshop and CE certificate.

ABOUT EMMA KNIGHTON:
Emma Knighton (she/they) is a Mother, a somatic trauma therapist, a psychedelic facilitator, educator and organizer. Her teaching work is dedicated to cultivating consent, trauma-informed care, ethics, and liberation in healing spaces. With over a decade in the mental health field, Emma has witnessed the many ways trauma shows up—and our profound capacity to heal and reconnect.
Her clinical work focuses on trauma healing, queer identity development, and psychedelic facilitation, emphasizing embodied consent and trauma-informed practice as foundations for integrity and care. Emma serves as the Director of Services and Programs at InnerTrek, and works as a lead therapist on MDMA- and psilocybin-assisted therapy clinical trials through the Portland VA.
