Curriculum

The program curriculum is delivered by InnerTrek’s Lead Educators, profiled here. It covers topics related to practicing in Colorado, as specified in Colorado’s Natural Medicine rules and regulations.

The program consolidates specific requirements that cannot be bypassed regardless of prior experience and training, according to Colorado’s Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA). Following DORA’s guidance, InnerTrek’s Transfer Credit Program provides an overview of Colorado’s regulatory environment and ethical codes while fashioning a “Colorado” lens through which to explore salient facilitator skills and concerns like touch, models of consent, and scope of practice.

Topics are delivered in conjunction with a hands-on practicum , providing practitioners with a right-sized window into state-regulated professional practice and an efficient pathway to licensure in Colorado.

4-Day Practicum

Students will engage in one 40+ hour practicum to meet the requirements of Colorado.

With supervision, students will experience and support psilocybin journeys in accordance with their education in the program and in alignment with the state regulated models.
